The first rays of dawn, soft and golden, were spreading a warm glow across my face. I stirred slowly and opened my eyes, still sleepy, not quite remember where I'm for a moment. Then the sudden realization hit me that I was no longer in my old room but in a new one in a house that was now mine and yet not entirly.
